If you want to switch in safe mode, press F8 or F10 when the bios starts up

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

If you can't change the setting in the bios setup that means you have a bios supervisor password set. If you don't know the supervisor password you can reset the supervisor with Acer Bios Master Password from http://www.unlockbiosrecovery.com/Unlock_Acer_Bios.php for only $20

Cant gat past the welcome page after putting in my password it just freezes up

completely switch of your system, and now start with a complete new reboot, immedietly after switching on ur pc start pressing F8 (just tab it for 5 - 10 times) now your pc will ask the mode for switching on your pc, select safe mode and now your pc will start only with essential running softwares.
then go to START - ALL PROGRAMS -ACCESSORIES - SYSTEM TOOL - SYSTEM RESTORE.

now select a date from the calendar in which you rememeber your system lastly worked perfectly. select the date and now restore your system
