No sound coming from my laptop aspire 5610...

You didn't mention which OS you're using but here is the XP driver for your machine.

It's a Realtek driver so you should be able to download a generic driver from the Realtek site which should work also. Choose either the standard Realtek AC97 or the AC97 HD, one of them should work.

Keyboard sound buttons dont work

I just bought an HP G60-230US so I am not sure if this will work for you but on my computer, you have to press the "fn" key along with whichever volume key you are trying to use.

I hope this helps!

No sound

Try taking the computer back in time.

Start > Help and Support > Undo changes to your computer with System Restore > Restore my computer to an earlier time > select a date prior to when the sound quit working

No sound ... everybody has the same problem for this notebook for xp audio drivers

I am not quite understanding your question here. What OS are you using? Have you went to your computer's manufacturer website and looked for the correct drivers that partains to your specific computer model and the OS that you use? Try that, and make sure that you get the latest drivers that pertain to your system.

if after reinstalling the operating system and the sound drivers you get the same problem then your sound chip is faulty,

dont know if there is a pcmci sound card but if there is, that would be your solution or else consider swapping the board
