Question about Canon PIXMA MP530 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I was changing the black ink cartridge on my printer. A pop up occurred asking me if I wanted to print in black and white or color. I picked black and white since I only had a black cartridge. I figured I could select color later when I put in a new cartridge. A couple of weeks later I replaced the color cartridge and it would not print in color. I looked for the dialogue box which said it is only available on select models (under maintenance). I didn't find it. The only thing that I can think of is that I downloaded the driver online and it was not the correct one for the printer but that it worked anyway and the pop up occurred. Of course, I reinstalled the driver with the one given to me with the printer, No help and probably confused the issue more. Any help out there. Got any ideas on how to flash the Pixma memory?? Thanks!
Try unplugging it and plugging it back in.when you reinstalled it did you do a fresh install?if not install again.first take out the old one
