What printer, what is the paper weight. Is the paper recommended for use with your specific printer? You can typically find your printer specs on the manufacturers website. Paper above 60 # may have problems with 180 degree bends in a lightweight inkjet printer.

Canon pixma mp495 rear tray rollers only pulls paper in on one side then it jams

When the paper does not feed straight, dirty or sticky rollers can cause it to jamb or crinkle, also failure to remove all traces of paper from a previous paper jamb will cause further paper jambs.
Check for tiny pieces of at the edges of the rollers, and remove these pieces of paper. The rollers may be dirty or sticky and causes the paper to not feed straight.
Try cleaning the rollers with methylated spirits.

How to load photo paper in paper tray canon mg5220

For front or front tray loading printers, shiny side down... for rear/back loading printers.., shiny side up. Pictures should be visible coming out of the exit slot. Using pre-cut photo paper requires some technique, if the paper holder does not have an adjustable paper width feature. Feed paper in one sheet at a time to prevent jambs.

It seems my F2180 can not print photo paper. Are they too thick? I get paper jam all the time. Regards Loyd

Photo paper usually needs to be loaded SINGLE SHEET, or it will jamb, and this is commonly stated on the packaging of the paper...Just load single sheets, and no more problem.

Photo Paper keeps jamming

It's the top rollers, the paper is too slick to get through them. I'm using HP photo paper, in an HP printer. It needs to do a 180, but gets jammed right where it prints, so the paper never makes it to the ink. It's an engineering problem by HP. I suggest putting a rough surface on the top edge of the photo paper, something removable but rough enough for the printer to pull the photo paper through.

Hi, Photo paper loads at start of print job but locks up and paper jamb error comes on. Have loaded 10 or 15 sheets of just photo paper that does not help. I can run standard paper thru and it prints pics...

Is this the first time you have used the heaver paper ? Also is it the same brand? You did not provide the printer model, but you can typically go to the manufacturers site, and check the specs for proper ( Mim / Max ) paper requirements. Above # 60 the paper feed rollers may have worn, and may need to be replaced. If 20 # copy paper works, then this may be the problem.
