Question about Acer TravelMate 2300 Notebook
I cant get my
@ key to work on my mini dell inspirion as i dont know what keys to press. i got it uo here by using character map.
I cannot find my @ key on top of my #2 where it normaly is. Instead I have a backwards looking L and my @ key is at the ".
Does that make sense??? I was working before and I had a friend format
my laptop for me and that is the only thing that doesnt work.
Hi, I'm not sure if I've completely understood your problem...but it sounds as though you have to press " on the keyboard to get @ onscreen, and @ on the keyboard to get " onscreen . Is that right?
If so, your keyboard may not be set up properly for your country.
Try going to Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language settings. Make sure all the settings shown are correct for your country. On the Languages tab, click 'Details' to ensure the language and details settings shown here are also correct for your country.
If this solution is not detailed enough, search windows help on your computer for 'keyboard regional settings' . Of course, if any of this does not solve your problem, please come back to Fixya. :)
