Once i click print a window appears and the cursor goes onto the hourglass, the program does not respond... i have uninstalled and re-installed lexmard program for series x2550 what can i do?

Check the printer, and make sure the printer is not marked as "Off Line" If it is, uncheck it, and try again. Are the print jobs building up in a print que?

How do I solve a problem with a Epson printer that wont print because of error messages saying that printer is incompatibke with somthing called ENPAPP


If your enpapp.exe error is related to a specific program, reinstalling Epson Connect Printer Setup-related software could be the answer.
Instructions for Windows 7 and Windows Vista:
  1. Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button.
  2. Click Control Panel on the right side menu.
  3. Click Programs.
  4. Click Programs and Features.

My Dell P713w prints from Dell PC one time only. Then I have to restart PC to print another document. Didn't used to happen.


This is common issue in todays date, please un-install Internet Explorer11 update.
To un-install you can click start icon at bottom left of computer screen, then click" All Program" then Accessories then click run and type appwiz.cpl.

Click OK

A new window will open on left of screen click on uninstall updates and find Internet Explorer 11 and uninstall.

restart your computer.

To solve this issue, please install the latest scanner driver. If you use MFL-Pro Suite Software,
  1. Click Start => Control Panel => Programs => Programs and Features.
  2. Select Brother MFL-Pro Suite from the list, click Uninstall and follow the on screen instructions.
  3. Once the uninstallation is completed, disconnect the interface cable and restart the PC.
If you do not use MFL-Pro Suite Software,
Make a temporary folder on your HDD to save the downloaded self-extracting file, e.g. C:\bront

Please click here to download the uninstall tool to remove the drivers.
Once downloading is completed, double click the downloaded file to extract it.

"ZIP Self Decompression" appears. Click DECOMPRESS.

"The decompression process was successful." will appear. Click OK.

A folder will be created in the temporary folder created in Step 1.

Open the folder and double click DelInf32.exe. "Brother MFC Uninstaller" dialog box will appear.

Select your model and click OK.
"Complete" will appear. Click OK.

Once the uninstallation is completed, disconnect the interface cable and restart the PC.

  1. Select 'Program' (for Windows 2000/Me/98), or 'All Programs' (for Windows XP) from the Start menu.

  2. Select the name of the printer model to remove and select 'Uninstall.'

    3) Restart the computer.

    Note: The Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard dialog box may be behind the Printer Connection window.
    In this case, click 'Found New Hardware Wizard' button on the task bar to display the window.

  8. After the files are copied automatically and the dialog box Completing Found New Hardware Wizard window appears, click 'Finish'.

  9. If the Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard dialog box appears again, click 'Finish' again.

  10. At the Print Head Alignment window, click 'Execute'.

    Note:
    * The Execute button may not appear for all models. In that case, skip to step 13.
    * The Print Head Alignment can also be done after the installation of the printer driver.


  11. When the Start Print Head Alignment window appears, load one sheet of A4 or letter size plain paper in the sheet feeder and click 'Print Head Alignment'.

  12. At the Do not start another operation until current one has finished dialog box, click 'OK'.

  13. When the pattern is printed, click 'Next' at the Print Head Alignment dialog box.

  14. At the Installation Results dialog box, check the content then click 'Next'.

  15. At the Installation completed successfully dialog box, click 'Exit'.

    Note: When the Restart button appears, confirm that Restart the system now (recommended) is checked then click 'Restart'.

Getting "printing application has stopped working"messaage


You will need to uninstall and reinstall the printer driver. Please follow the steps given below:
To uninstall:
1. Click on "Start" and "All Programs."
2. Go to the "Lexmark " " Series."
3. Click on "Lexmark Uninstall."
4. Click on "Next."
5. Click on "Finish."
6. Click on "Restart Windows."
To install:
1. Make sure no other programs are open.
2. Insert the CD and wait for the installation window to appear.
3. Connect the USB to your computer when prompted to do so. If an "Add New Hardware Wizard" appears when the cable is connected click on "Cancel."
4. Click on the "OK" button on the Install screen to begin running the software. Follow the prompts and accept the Licensee Agreement to allow the software to load.
5. Once the software has loaded, click on "Finish."
6. Once the software has loaded, you will be able to click "Finish." Your software is now installed.

My computer stopped recognizing my hp psc1350 and it won't print


If this is not hardware problem then most probably the driver is corrupt.
First uninstall the printer completely using the procedure below (taken from HP website).

Uninstalling the software
Use the following steps to uninstall the software:

1.Disconnect the USB or parallel cable from the all-in-one.
2.Click Start , click Programs (click All Programs in Windows XP), click HP , select the all-in-one product folder, and then click Uninstall . Follow the directions that appear.
The basic device drivers have been removed after completing this step. If you were having problems with connectivity or the basic print or scan drivers, you may reconnect the all-in-one at this point to reinstall it. If the problem is not corrected or if you had other problems, continue to the next step.
3.Open the Windows Control Panel by following these steps:
* Windows 98, Me and 2000: Click Start , click Settings , and then click Control Panel .
* Windows XP: Click Start and then click Control Panel .
4.Click Add/Remove software (click Add or Remove Software in Windows XP).
5.In the list of installed programs, locate and select HP Photo and Imaging 3.0 or HP Image Zone , and then click Remove . Restart the computer after uninstalling if prompted.
6.In the list of installed programs, locate and select HP Software Update , and then click Remove .
7.In the list of installed programs, locate and select Memories Disk Creator 2.0 , and then click Remove .

I've bought a Lexmark X2690 and haven't been able to send a fax the cd that has is not loding the software


You will need to uninstall and reinstall the printer driver. Please follow the steps given below:
To uninstall:
1. Click on "Start" and "All Programs."
2. Go to the "Lexmark " " Series."
3. Click on "Lexmark Uninstall."
4. Click on "Next."
5. Click on "Finish."
6. Click on "Restart Windows."
To install:
1. Make sure no other programs are open.
2. Insert the CD and wait for the installation window to appear.
3. Connect the USB to your computer when prompted to do so. If an "Add New Hardware Wizard" appears when the cable is connected click on "Cancel."
4. Click on the "OK" button on the Install screen to begin running the software. Follow the prompts and accept the Licensee Agreement to allow the software to load.

Canon PIXMA MP190 'not responding'


There are possible causes of this not responding status message you get. you will try out these option i have listed here and see which one resolves the problem. after each one, try to print from a file and from the web.
1. Configure driver to correct printer port
On the 'Ports' tab of 'Printer Properties' window, select the correct port for the printer driver.
From the Windows desktop, open the printer's properties window.
Click the Ports tab.
Below 'Print to the following port(s)' section, select the port to which your printer is connected.
Click 'Apply' to accept the changes.

Click General tab and then click 'Print Test Page' to confirm the changes corrected the issue.
2. Checking USB Connections
You should disconnect and reconnect the USB cable at both ends to ensure there is a secure connection on the device side as well as the computer side. It may also be necessary to try a different USB port on the computer. Additionally, you may need to disconnect other USB devices, temporarily, in order to determine if a conflict exists.
Disconnect one end of the cable and then reseat it ensuring the cable is firmly seated into the USB port. If the USB cable is plugged into a hub instead of directly into the computer, try connecting the USB cable directly into the computer.
Repeat step one to reseat the cable on the other end.
3. If there is still no communication, then it may be necessary to try a different USB cable or a different port on the computer.
when you are through, restart the system.
4. Uninstall and Reinstall the Driver
If the MP Navigator or the MP drivers are no longer required, or if they are not installed correctly, uninstall them.
Caution: Uninstalling means deleting software, such as MP drivers, from the computer. Once the software has been deleted the unit cannot be used through the computer until the software has been reinstalled.
Note: Login as a user with Administrator privileges to uninstall . Turn off any programs running in the background, such as antivirus programs and firewalls before begining.
Select 'Program' (for Windows 2000), or 'All Programs' (for Windows XP / Vista) from the Start menu.
Select the name of the printer model to remove and select 'Uninstall.'
When the MP Drivers Uninstaller window is displayed, click 'Perform.'
When the confirmation window is displayed, click 'Yes.'
When the Uninstallation Complete window is displayed, click 'Complete.'
5. Reinstall the Drivers

At the Installation completed successfully dialog box, click 'Exit'.

Have a z708 lexmark printer can't instal to my computer have no instalation cd


  1. Uninstall any previous versions of the driver:
    1. Click on Start, Programs (Windows XP: All Programs).
    2. Go to the Lexmark folder and select the Uninstall program.
    3. Follow the prompts to continue the uninstallation.
    4. Restart the computer when the uninstall program is finished.
  2. Log on to the administrator account (generally the first account that is set up on the computer). Note: If you have purchased a ready-made system and did not install Windows yourself, you may need to contact your PC manufacturer to find out how to log on to your system's administrator account as this will differ from system to system.
  3. Install the printer again using the latest driver software. Note:
  4. Before you start downloading the software, make sure your printer is on and connected to the computer. If the software requires you to remove your cable during installation, it will prompt you to do so.
    1. Create a new folder on your desktop and call it Lexmark.
    2. Go to our Drivers and Downloads center.

    4. Click Printer Driver.
    5. Select the Related Product Name from the drop-down menu.
    6. Select your Operating System from the drop-down menu.
    7. Select the desired Language from the drop-down menu.
    8. Select the latest Driver File and click on the File Name to detach it to the Lexmark folder on your desktop (see step 1).
    9. Once the download is complete, open the folder and double-click on the file.
    10. When the WinZip Self-Extractor screen appears, click on When done unzipping file open:<the printer file name>. (The name will appear beneath this option).
    11. Click Unzip. The installation program should autorun. Follow the on-screen prompts to install the printer.
    12. If the installation program does not autorun, double-click on the newly created LXK___ folder for Setup.exe. An installation program will run. Follow the on-screen prompts.
    13. If you are prompted to install the printer for all users, click Yes.
    14. When the installation is complete, restart the PC.

  5. Try printing from the administrator account first and then from the user account that exhibited the problems in the first place. Both should print to the printer.
