Question about Cooktops
On our GE gas cooktop the igniter continues to arc (click) even though all knobs are set to off. The condition is not limited to any one burner as the visible arc occurs at any one of the four burners. Removing the burner heads seems to stop the action, however when a head is replaced, the igniter arcing will happen again at that burner. Removing that head and replacing at another burner will cause the arcing to shift to that burner. I am not sure of the model number, but our owners manual lists the following JGP326; JGP930; JGP336
I hasd this problem I searched the iternet and read to unplug the unit which I did and the clicking stopped - this was after I had a technicicn come out and repair it once !!
