Help me out when you say did you reslder the flyback connections what does that mean. I unsoldered the fuse and replaced it and that was all I did was there something I missed.

    willtab.

Replaced the tube again and it blew again. My son who works on all of his own cars decided because it was a type of fuse lets by pass it with a jumper and what to our wondering eyes did happen IT WORKS so far it has been going for 5 days with the jumper with no problems. We did leave the back off so that we could watch and make sure there was no fire hazards. I don't know if you want to use this as a fix or not but so far so good I will let you know if there are any problems.

    Thanks kputens

Sorry to here this... I have to ask... Did you resolder flyback connections. I have found if i didnt the fuse would blow within a day. Now if you throughly resolder the connections then there definatly other problems.. Bad ribbion cable maybe. I will admit i have not come across instance of other compnents causeing this. Is the fuse blown again? There is one case out of about 1000 of these i repaired it was a bad signal board...very rare though. let me know what happens.

when yo removed the fl231 fuse you unsoldered it and put it in and soldered it back. NExt to that fuse is a large black compnent next to it with a large red wire coming from it. this is called the flyback. The main reason the fuse blows is do to poor connections from factory on this component. when i say resolder this i mean touch your solder iron to its connections. the pins for this s ussally in a circle. take some new solder and add to the connection. This should fix the cracks on this connection

Replacing the fuse the first time was the right move, becuase it could have been a fluke that it blew. Replacing it again and again was not! You should have found out EVERYTHING that the #2 fuse controlled and verified that the components weren't pulling excessive amperage (shorted condition). By replacing the fuse over and over, you might have made the problem worse by subjecting good components to something that was shorted.

BTW next time pick the oldest guy at autozone to help you, if the counter help knew their stuff they would have told you the same thing I just did!

E2 F6 ??? What the? Oven came with house, no manual.

Your oven temperature sensor has failed(e-2) as well as your electronic control board(f-6). The oven temp sensor, electronic control board and the touchpad must be replaced . Approximate cost of parts is $500.00. Before you decide what to do, check the thermal fuse at the control panel first. If blown, replace it and the temp sensor. If you are lucky the control board may still be good.

Check engine light/vacuum leak

First thing to remember autozone people ar not experts in the automative diagnostic world, if they were they would be earning 50 - 75,ooo per year as a technician, not 25,000 as a desk jockey. You need to go to a mechanic that has a computer to hookup to your car and tell you what the check engine light is on for. then you can fix the exact problem instead of poking around in the dark at the problem until you get lucky and have it fixed for a week or two,
