Fuser error on hp 3600 printer

I changed the fuser on the printer and continued to get the message. Now I have hooked up another 3600 printer (brand new) and I'm getting the message on this machine. What is the problem?

Hi guys, i also had an Hp 3600 that gave me 50.4 fuser error after replacing with a new one. The solution I found after troubleshooting for hours was to replace the low voltage PSU. Worked like a wonder!

Put a maintence kit in your machine, easy install, everything just clicks in, Every 200 000 prints it should be done, it includes the fuser, all feed rollers, sep pad and transfer roller.

These are great printing machine, they only ever need the MK and on this model a fuser drive gear wears and get noisy, but once that has been done once, it is ok from then on.
KIts seem expensive but they are meant to last 200 000 prints and usally do. These are one of the best most reliable printers in the market.

Try unplugging the printer for 30 mins. You may still have a defective fuser.

HP laserjet 3600 error message 50.9 Fuser Error

Thank you for the inquiry.
Yes you will probably have to replace the fuser. If this is a new printer still under warranty and the page count has not reached the service life of the fuser, contact HP for warranty replacement. Once the new fuser in installed you will need to restore the service count.

HP LASER JET 3600 HAS A 50.9 ERROR MESSAGE

However what this 50.2 is telling you is the fuser is bad. You can re-seat the fuser, most likely you will need to replace the fuser.

Based on the manual :
50.9 High fuser temperature (sub-thermistor), or pressure release mechanism problem

I found this link on-line that will show you how to replace the fuser or re-seat it.

Changed power supply from 110v to 220v, now get 50.2 fuser error

The printer will have a 120v fuser, unkess that has been changed for a 220v fuser, it won't get up to temprature on 220v, hence the error message.

It needs a 220v fuser.

It sounds like to me you purchased a bad fuser. Is the fuser brand new or a refurb? If so either way you will have to replace it with a working fuser . Good Luck!!
