Question about Xerox WorkCenter PE120i All-In-One Laser Printer
I have a Xerox WorkCentre Pro 215 All-in-one printer that refuses to work. When it is first turned on, it flashes "E2" about 4 times then the codes reads F and 9 alternately. Also the panel displays the paper jam symbol (two rollers with a zig-zag line in red) flashing. If I use the clear-auto-clear-auto-14-enter, E and 7 alternately flash, but the red jam light is off. I have searched for any residue of paper in the path without finding anything. I even removed the fuser to look and found no paper residue. Any suggestions?
I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy
paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print
button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it
will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I
have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
