Question about Car Audio & Video

Open Question

4 error appears on Car Radio

We have a Citroen Saxo, and, after being serviced, the words "4 error" appeared on the radio, and it hence isn't working.

Does any one have any advice on this at all?

Many thanks,

Philip

SOURCE: I have lost the radio code for my citroen saxo

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also  has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
C7000000 + + + +  on a label somewhere on the metal casing.

(There are usually two barcodes on one label. The one required is the lower one )

If you have this barcode serial number then

If not then it will only be available from  your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM

I need to unlock my car radio in citroen saxo, can u help?

The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
First remove the radio from the dashboard.
Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.
This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

Citroen saxo radio code

First make sure that the code has not been noted somewhere within the car (underneath the ash tray, glove box , rear of sun visor etc)

To see if your code is available here for free then the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard (and if you are lucky, someone may have written the code on the casing ) .

If not then POST ANOTHER QUESTION

quoting the radio MAKE+MODEL plus ALL the LETTERS+NUMBERS on ANY LABELS ,BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING.
Make sure you quote EVERYTHING

Also quote the MAKE of CAR

note: Unfortunately not all radios can be decoded using the Serial Number

If not then try your Main Dealer ...........or take it into a Decode Service who will plug in a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM). This takes a few minutes and shouldn`t be too expensive
