Toyota vehicles have a fuse in the kick for the amp and sometimes there is located under the hood ... This is the switch turn on for the amp ... And 1 of the fuses is most likely the memory or constant power. B sure to check all fuses ... I do not have AllData pulled up . If the fuses are all good the amp or radio may be bad ... Or both ... Be sure to check all the fuses ... Many times I get clients that say allthe fuses are good and it is still the first thing I check ..Usually is a fuse ..Good Luck
first of all you must be able to check out a few things like do you know how to set your clock for the kd-r805. if you can check to see if you set your clock and set your presets for radio station to be saved. set your clock and set all your station presets once done. Once you have done that turn off the car wait about 60 seconds then turn your car back on to power up the radio and see what happens to your clock and presets . if your clock and presets are not still saved this means that who ever did the radio install has the yellow memory wire connected to switch ignition and not constant battery wire from the factory harness. have someone fix it. If the clock and station presets are still save then it was that you don't know how to program the clock.. how to program your model radios clock .......

if the unit only looses radio station presets then there is a defect with the unit. if the unit looses all its memory, (clock, stations, settings) then there is an issues with your aux power. basically you have the main power connect properly so it turns on the unit while the cars is on but the aux power keeps those settings.
There is an internal battery to hold the station and presets. It is probably no good. Either that or there is something very wrong with the unit.
Here is what I recommend. Call XM. Tell them your receiver is not longer functioning correctly and that you are thinking about canceling your service because you don't have a receiver. They will then offer you a receiver because they don't make much money on them, the make their money on the service.

be sure when setting presets you hold the button down for at least 3 seconds to set the channel, if you are doing this correctly, you may have a blown back up fuse under the hood. there are 2 fuses for the radio one is marked radio and is inside the fuse pannel on the inside of the car the other is for memory back up and located in fuse box under hood may be marked B/U just check them all to be sure!
To change stations, make sure you are in radio mode(push the FUNC button in upper left corner), and move the 4-way button Left or right. To add station to presets, press and hold preset button until it is saved.
The radio was improperly installed; there are two 12V leads, one services the radio when on, the other, only the circuitry for the clock and presets.
Eventually, this shouldn't be needed if the manufacturers ever think about using a little bit of flash memory for the presets and a coin cell for the clock.
You didn't give any model number so researching the manual is impossible.
If you can find the model number, look for a user's (or installation) guide on line to find the wiring info.
