On the base press the volume up [^] key. Repeat pressing to get higher volume. Press volume down [V] for reducing the volume. Press and hold volume down for two seconds to turn ringer off. On the handset, you can use the menu to turn ringer on and off.

How do I turn the ringer back on on the Uniden dect 6.0

The procedure varies from phone to phone. Since you neglected to specify the model of your Uniden DECT 6.0 phone I can only suggest you select it from the list beginning here to download a copy of the manual.

Can i turn down the base ringer (or turn off) on my vtech dect 6.0?

Welcome to FixYa!

The base ringer is dependent to your handset ringer. If you lower the volume or turn off the handset ringer, the base ringer will follow.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Have a great day.

Need ringer turned back on .. radio shack 5.8GHz

Hit the up or down arrow keys several times. (either key will work) and the ringer will rotate through Ringer off - Ringer low - Ringer high... one set will be a steady ring, the other set will be a warble ring. This works on the phone made for RadioShack with 5.8 GHz on the front and Cat. No. 43-155 under the battery in the battery compartment.

Ringer turned off

Browsing through the menu should eventually show you the page for setting the ringer. Choose the menu by pressing the button, then jsut use the arrow key for stepping through it until you find the ringer menu item.

I have a number of telephones (1927-1970) that work but do not ring and need instructions. Thank you.

If the phone has a dial tone, adjust the ringer loudness (this adjustment is on the bottom of some phones). Also check to see if there is a switch for turning off the ringer--and turn it on.

In some cases, you can't connect more than five phones to a given line or they won't ring properly. If this is your situation, you may have to disconnect one or more phones, or at least turn their ringers off.

I can't hear my ringer

may be there is a loose contact with the ringer speaker... or may be it s gone... just get the ringer speaker changed from nearest technician .....

may be due to accidents such has falling of the cell to the ground or falling into water has destroyed it or it is in miscontact....
