How do i get the TV unlocked

Set was working fine then turned it on and all I recieved was a horizonal white line across the center of the picture.
After a few minutes the picture would appear.
Any ideas with part numbers and appox cost to fix

Your problem could be one of the common ones as this set has loads of bad solder connections. Your problem is most likly the verticle output IC connections or the B+ feed componets have bad solder connection on them. In some cases though the Output IC is defective and will need to be repalce. if you have no soldid state repair or soldering skills play it safe and get a pro to assist you in this repair. It should not cost you more then a hundred bucks or so and thats the high end. good Luck, And Merry christmas.
