Question about Zyxel ZyAIR B-220 802.11b (91-005-020003) Wireless Adapter
I am using this usb adapter on my Pentium D computer. No matter what driver I used I would get a blue screen. Finally I removed earthlink totalaccess and got back on my dial up connection. I still am afraid to connect the usb adapter for fear of getting a blue screen. My computer always installs the peabird driver no matter what. When im downloading the zyair driver from windows update I get a blue screen. My cpu has been switched out and still has a problem using both cores. Of course you can assume its a Dell. Dell technical support told me to reinstall windows and get this Download "Download" a 1GB memory chip???
This will be happening because of a driver conflict. Uninstall all drivers to do with adapter, then re- install your Zyair software and then plug in your adapter, but force windows to look where you have downloaded the driver in other words not automatically install but manually when the option pops up. It may be you have to connect your adapter first then install drivers.
