There was not a fix to this issue, we will continue to use scanner as is. Thanks.

It will either be the trigger or the scanner ribbon. More likely to be the trigger.

I don't know if this applies to the LS22208.

Symbol Support FAQ says;

A slow continuous flashing LED on the LS9208 indicates that the LS9208 has been put into “programming mode” and is ready to scan programming bar codes. Once the LS9208 is correctly programmed, the LED should stop flashing and remain on, indicating that the scanner is ready for use.

A fast, continuously flashing LED on the LS9208 indicates an internal problem. When the LED is in this state, the LS9208 laser is also shut off for regulatory reasons.

We support these for some big retailers. When they call with that issue 99/100 it's reseat the cable from the base of the scanner (or the system if accesible), no re-programming).

install a program called symbol appcenter and you can keep people from accessing anything you do not want them to access, I have it installed on mine for an inventory system and all my employees can access is the inventory system. As the administartor I have the password if I need to access anything else in the scanner to ake changes, but nobody else can.

I have a small inventory company. We do inventory in corner stores such as 7-11s. I decided that we would like to try scanning products. At present we use calculators. I have a program that my son-in-law made me. We use it in windows 2000. The company we work for really likes the way our program prints out there information, so I would like to program the scanner to print out information the same as our program. Do you think this is possible?

My son-in -law doesn't like me enough to help me out. I can't pay him like the government does for his job.

Can you post a screenshot of the PRINTOUT you wanted?

I would like to suggest since you are approaching to GUI enviroment you need to develop system build by visual basic using MSCOMM control by sending and receiving data between PDT3100 and PC.
