Mostly likely your pressure switch has gone bad or the hose has come loose from the pressure switch. open access to the console. your pressure switch is the water level. if the hose is attached, then the switch itself is bad. Joe

I have a GE Model WJRE5500g0WW washing machine. It is two years old, purchased new. After the clothes had spun dry, water was observed on floor. Drain tube checked and okay, not plugged up. Before I open...

Normally water on the floor can be from a few places. Mostly a faulty drain pump: possibly a tear in one of the pipes: rust in the drum: possibly water in the centre which comes from the bearings.(if the machine makes a racket when spinning, then i would look at the spin bearing collum). even concider drain pipe at outlet not running out onto floor. Either tilt washer back about 45 deg. to look underneath or possibly remove panel to allow a visual of the motor and components. See if you can pick up any indecationof water having run down from a particular spot. If so rectify. Hope it helped. .Ge washers not farmiliar to me but most problems are similar.

Washer won't stop filling with water.

There is a pressure switch with a tube to the water drain. The switch may be faulty or needs adjustment. The tube may be blocked or disconnected.

the drum seals will need to be replaced. there are seals that are used for the screws that connect the drum to the drive. they are leaking.

Will not spin and then when I try to start the cycle over all it will do is aggitate. It is also overfilling and spilling onto the floor. It is a top loading GE washer and is just over a year old.

sounds like the water level switch is not working pop the front cover off and see if the tube on the left of the tub is still hooked up. to remove front cover use a putty knife and slide between thee top and the front cover you wil feel the knife stop about two inces from each side push in on the place where it stopped and pull out on the front cover

There is a thin tube going from the control to the drain area near the exit of your machine... this tube is likely to be clogged. Remove the clog & to check blow into it to see that it is free, refit.
