Insert the DVD, find it in Windows Explorer, left click on the files you want to copy, right click and select "copy", then left click on where you want to copy to and right click again and select "paste". This will work unless the DVD is copyprotected by the creator.

Leawo Blu-ray Copy is a one-click smart tool for
Blu-ray HD video fans to copy and backup Blu-ray discs to hard disk and
DVD discs. It incorporates advanced replication technology that allows
you to copy Blu-ray discs from various origins to the formats of
DVD-5/9, file folder, ISO image and even 1:1 disc duplication for
storage.
On your machine or on the r/control you should have a copy button,if you press this you should get a menu come up on screen. It should ask you which way you want to copy,so you will go HDD-DVD-R,then press copy again and it should do it automatic, hope this helps.
look for an option in the DVD menu for dubbing this means to copy contents to hdd (usually cannot do it with copy protected discs but will be ok with a disc you made yourself)
USB1.1 port can generally handle transfer speeds approaching 5.5Mbps between PC and DVD Camcorder.
Smooth playback of movies requires 5.5Mbps speeds or above. If the PC you are using has some compatibility issues
with the USB driver software, the USB port may drop to speeds below 5.5Mbps causing short pauses during video
playback.
It is recommended to copy the movie file from the DVD Camcorder to the hard disc drive (HDD) on your PC, then playback the movie from the hard drive.
