I was connecting my yp z5 to my pc and whilst trying to sync with media player it stopped around 70% sync'd and my mp3 player froze. Media player cannot detect it as a new device and the mp3 player remains frozen with 'connected' displayed on the screen, nothing seems to work, as far as unfreezing the screen or it being recognised by the computer as a new device, do i just wait for the battery to die, and is it gaurenteed to work when re-charged?
I have the same issue where my pc won't recognise my mp3, or only occassionally does, and then locks up. The problem with media player is it eats up so much memory while trying to synch files / delete / add etc and brings your pc to a grinding halt. So the solution I'm told is the MS Synch Tool, download off MS site and use it rather than the player to switch your files. I'm trying it now.
