Yellow spots The problem I am having is some yellow spots have formed on the top right side of my tv. Although you can still see the picture, there is a yellow tint. I was just wondering if there was anyway to remove the yellow spot without calling the tech.

A large yellow spot remains on my screen as well as yellow tinting around images especially in cartoons with white backgrounds.

I have no suggestions but I am having the exact problem, yellow haze in the top right corner of the screen with a yellow line running down to the bottom of the screen. I guess we need to call tech support.

Ok...here is the solution directly from Sony:
Unplug the TV from the wall or surge protector. Let the TV sit for 5 minutes. Plug the TV directly into the wall outlet. Turn on TV, yellow haze should be gone. Do not use surge protector anymore.
The rep told me the problem comes because of the surge protector (and I have a good one). He said the owners manual says to plug the TV directly into a wall outlet so if a problem occurs the warranty is still good.
I hope this works for you as it did for me.

Scren went blank. We have sound but no picture .what do we neen to do to get pictute?

How is your TV receiving video? Are all cables connected? With RCA (the red, yellow, white ended cables) the yellow is the video, the white and red are left and right stereo sound. Ensure that all cables are connected into the correct spot on the back of the TV and that you are on the right input (Video 1, AV1, etc).

One yellow, one pink, and one blue spots appeared on my tv screen.

The set if projection which model here is, has arced and now each of the three picture tubes used has a tiny permanent burn mark on its screen.

That is what you are seeing, the set uses three picture tubes with screens like the old tv sets===the coating has been burnt in each, want to prove it, remove rear cover and cover any one of the three lens and that mark on one tube will go a way.

Not fixable.

My wii has power but no picyure why?

Check The cables that connect to the TV. Make sure that the cable is securely connected to the console. Next make sure that if your using the Red, White, Yellow composite cables everything lined up. Yellow is video and should go with the slot labeled video on the TV or the yellow slot on the TV. Red is right audio and should be put in the labeled spot for right audio on the TV or with the red spot on the TV. Lastly white is left audio and should be put in the spot that is labeled left audio on the TV or in the white spot on the TV. If all of the cables are hooked up like so, and everything is secure yet there is still no picture, you need to buy a new cable because it seems that one may have been damaged. If there is still no picture with the new cable, then your last option is to try it with another TV. If it works with the other TV, the 1st TV your trying to put it on has a faulty composite input. If it still doesn't work on the other 2nd TV, then there is an internal problem with the Wii and needs to be repaired or replaced.
Hope this helps!

Sony 60" LCD projection TV has yellow screen discoloration

It sounds like you have a bad Blue Polarizer in the light path. I'm sorry but that is something you will have to contact a service center for. It's not something you'll be able to do yourself, I'm sorry, but that's the best advice I can give you.

Sharp notevision xgnv6xu oval yellow spot

I have a similar issue with yellow pattern on the left and top right of my screen. Took it apart and found the blue lcd had damage that matched the yellow area that was projected. I thought it was the lens but it was the blue lcd .It has gone bad and no replacement. Are you interested in selling the bulb or the whole projector? I have since purchased another projector and am keeping the bad one for spare parts. Hope this helps..Ben

Green spot on picture

Greenish yellow spot only means one thing. You have a defective lite engine. The only fix is to replace the engine. This part is very
expensive. Average cost $835.00 Part number A-1606-008-A

Yellow Spot dead center on screen

most likely the yellow dot is due to a burn in the picture on the "green" lens. It's not removable because it's burned it, but you can try cleaning it because sometimes, dots are caused by dirt. The worst that can occur is that if the dot is permanant.
