Internet explorer asking for the page to be recovered is usually a page issue, multiple things you can go to check this out. 1. Try another page, I would usually try google.com (simple & fast) 2. Reset the browser (on IE, Tools > Internet options > advanced tab > reset) - should take care of a lot of issues As for the speed of internet, that depends on the connection you have... if it's wireless, try wired (best way to ts connectivity issues)
That normally happens when you are using a different location to log
into Facebook, or if you are using a wifi connection in a location that
is not your home as it will create a Differnt IP address each time. But
you MUST answer all the question correctly, if you are not sure off the
picture click on that option as if you get a question wrong it just
keeps asking you time and time again
If it is a new machine, and you have the packaging and reciept, just return it for a full refund. You don't even have to give a reason, just that you are not happy with it. they have to return your money the way you paid, cash for cash, cheque for cheque etc. Then go to another shop and buy another one there. If thet don't want to help you then why should they get your money, even the threat from you getting a refund will force them to take action, after all your custome is very important to them so they should bend over backwards to keep your cash in there till.
first make sure you are connected to trhe internet. Next go to TOOLS options and change the home page to some other location that you know works.. Try www.google.com and making that your home page till you decide which page you really want as a HOME page.
Clear the browser history, cache and everything in your browser. In Firefox, go to Tools and then select Clear Recent History, or simple press this keys, ctrl + shift + del in the keyboard. It is the same also with Internet Explorer.
Once you plug it in, most the time you need to reset the modem and the router together, Unplug both let sit for 2 min then plug in the modem first then the router a couple seconds later. If your modem has a reset button, reset it!
When you say "it connects" what do you mean? Do you open internet explorer and can browse the net without problem?
You Pick up Wifi connections - make sure you pick the correct one to connect to and ensure that you use the correct Password.
If all the above are working then make sure the Laptop is rebooted when you attempt to connect to wifi. Msn has problems when it can not resolve correct IP address - rebooting the machine should fix that.
Or the connection speed is too slow - which these days can still happen.
Finally, Get the full error message from msn and type it into google. Guide yourself to the Microsoft pages with the correct solution.
So few things to clarify and few things to test out.
I hope this helps, don't forget to rate my solution.
Recommendation: If you can switch from the 3rd party wireless utility to the Windows utility. There should be a check box under the properties that says, "Let Windows manage my connection." Also turn off any power management that stops your drives, suspends the machine, etc. When doing WEP, use the actual key, not your password. i.e. the one that looks like "aaff996753bc" not "rosebud".
Reason: Windows wireless starts before you even log in and loads as a service, it runs whether your logged in or not, sleep mode, etc. 3rd party utilities...especially my personal bane of all wireless devices "Netgear" load as applications. That means they don't initialize until after log in and they can be suspended completely or prioritized by power management and resource management utilities when the machine is idle. As for the key thing... WEP translation with Linksys especially can be a little funny with some wireless so I use the key itself which always works.
