I have the same problem with the multimedia buttons not working. I have reinstalled the drivers from HP website and spent over an hour with their tech on chat. Why can't anyone get them to work?

If you are using a multimedia keyboard, you will have to download and install the drivers for the keyboard.. Multimedia functionality is not always supported by Windows without additional drivers.

I would suggest downloading new drivers from HP and doing an uninstall-- reboot-- install. Sometimes the backward compatibility gets lost and new updated drivers are needed.....
