Hmmmmm, I would go to the SanDisk website and download their latest firmware updates. You'll need to be hooked up to your PC for it to update the player. Otherwise it sounds like you have a lemon!

Too many! Where do I start.... 1. The Wifi connection does not work, although blutooth is on and the blue indicator light is illuminated. 2. When the pc is idle for some time, the screensaver does not...

This can happen when there is two problems.. One the computer might have been affected by virus.. Or the other thing might be the OS corrupted.. Try to get into safe mode and check if the system is working fine.. If it works well there try to do a system restore to a place wr it was working well.. If in safe mode also it doesnt work well then go ahead and reinstall the OS...

My mp3 frozen on the welcome screen and restart and freeze again

First reset the Sansa e260. The way you do this is you hold down the power (menu) button for 15-25 seconds. This usually solves it.

Good Luck,

Odd white screen

Very likely your firmware is corrupt. The only solution at this point would probably, and I say that b/c this is troublshooting in a posting forum, be to reformat the device. After that, the firmware would need to be reloaded. Hopefully you have backed up your vids , pics and music.

Restart

try doing this and let me know if it goes into recovery mode
1. with mp3 off slide the hold button to on so it locks
2.hold down record button on left hand side and keep held down
3. whilst holding record turn mp3 on still hold down record it should now be in recovery mode if your mp3 player gets this far then it can be fixed.
Once in recovery mode goto sandisk site and you need to goto downloads and download latest firmware for your make and model once downloaded it will talk you through how to istall this onto your mp3 player if you have any problems let me know ok
