Freezer is working, refrigerator is warm

You probably have a defrost issue with the freezer. Cold air is passed to the refrigerator section from the freezer, when the freezer does not defrost air flow to the refrigerator is eliminated causing the refrigerator to warm up. Check for icing on the back wall of the freezer. If no ice on back of freezer, check the damper assembly going to the refrigerator section.

Kenmore classic bottom freezer refrigeration warm but freezer is cold

I would guess you have just caused a build up of ice to block the air way, which normally takes cold air into the fridge. manually defrost (unplug and wait until the ice goes away) then restart and it should be fine

LG LFC21760ST: In freezer area floor, there is ice build-up. Water is leaking from the back wall where two horizontal openings are (near the center). We've turned off the water for the ice maker but this...

If you shut off the water to the ice maker, the only other cause is a plugged drain hole. Somewhere around the bottom of your freezer there will be a small hole that allows moisture to drain out of the freezer and into a catch pan under the refrigerator. If this hole is plugged with ice then the water has no where to drain but out the door of the freezer and puddling on your floor. The water you see dripping is condensation that has built up in the freezer itself.

To fix this problem, you need to dislodge/remove the ice from the bottom of the freezer and the hole. I have had the best luck using warm water with a turkey baster. Another alternative would be an ice pick or any type of utensil that can be safely used to dislodge the ice from the whole and the bottom of the freezer. I prefer the water method because it is the safest. Ideally what you want to do is force warm water in small quantites down the hole. This will melt the ice and reopen the drainage. You then need to remove any ice around the bottom of the freezer using warm water. When done make sure to dry the bottom of the freezer.

Ice maker is not making ice, yet the water dispensor works fine

Check the temp of the freezer. Is the ice cream frozen hard? If not the temp has to be corrected first. Check to see if the freezer control is set too warm. You CANNOT make ice if the freezer control is set too warm

Eterna series side by side ice maker doesn't make ice

Hi: . In the warm weather your freezer can warm. I don't mean just frozen. Your freezer has to be at 0 degrees to harvest ice. Ice cream should be rock hard. Set your freezer colder and don't trust cheap thermometers. Also don't do the human thing and check the freezer every 30 minutes to see if ice is made. It will take 24hrs at zero degrees and opening the freezer a lot will not help matters. Hope this helps, Jeff This happens to me every summer. The ice maker will stop or slow.

Freezer works but refridgerator warm

you could find ice behind the back panel - worth a check. however the problem is probably ice in the return vent from fridge to freezer and the only way to cure is to switch off and leave for a day with doors open. if im right and you try this, if it re-occurs you may have a problem with the defrost system
