Question about KitchenAid 24 in. KUDI02FRSS Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher
My KitchenAid dishwasher model number KUDS01IJWH0 electronic panel shows flashing lights over "Quick clean up" and Rinse only mode. If I unplug the machine to try and reset, when I plug it back in again the "Control lock" light is on. It wont clear, start or even if I try to follow instruction in the manual by pressing "energy saver dry" mode for four seconds, I cannot get the control lock light to cancel. This has happened a couple of times before and it's always reset by unplugging for a few minutes, then plugging back in. Any tips appreciated.
Thank you. Jan Tidy
I suspect that the cycle "button" on the control panel is intermittent. Try using a different cycle - If you always use "short wash", try the "normal" cycle.
This worked for me. It will be too expensive to repair, so I am dishwasher shopping.

Try holding the E.S. button down for 30 seconds. Does not work, you need an Electronic control assembly which can be ordered online from Repair clinic .com for $146 for your model plus shipping. This is apparently a common problem with Kitchenaid dishwashers. Just repaired one the other day. Tried everything, but as soon as the new Electronic control assembly was installed, everything was Okay. This is an easy repair for anyone who is handy at all. Please shut off power to the dishwasher by switching the breaker off or removing the fuse.
