Question about Washing Machines
My daughter call and said washer stopped working . I went the next day turned it on and everything worked at first . I watched the motor turn the drum and cycle back and forth as well as go into a spin cycle . I put a load of clothes in and started the washer . Washer filled with water and started to cycle the drum back and forth . You could see the motor try to start a couple of times and then power off the washer . You could wait a few seconds and push the start button and again the same thing would happen . I then removed the drum belt and started the washer again with the same results . That's where I am at this time . Is it the motor control board or maybe a bad motor ?
There are a number of possibilities but the easiest to check is if the brushes are worn down which would need to be physically checked or you could have a loose or broken wire in the motor block then you get on to the possibilities you highlighted which would require an engineer to test them.

CHECK your stand pipe hasn't fell over (the one the drain hose goes to when emptying)If not,Either the pressure switch is broke or there is a hole or split in the pressure switch rubber hose. This switch stops the water when it reaches required level.

My washer won't work after we moved it into a new house, and I found a fuse in the floor beside it but couldnt find anywhere it would go. Is the fuse from the washer?

“F20” on display
(Water Inlet Problem—no water or insufficient
water supply) Select PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel the cycle
Unplug washer or disconnect power. Check the following: Are water faucets completely turned on?
Are screens at inlet hose connection to washer
clogged? Are water inlet hoses kinked? Are water inlet hoses frozen?
Do rate the solution.
