Cannot navigate MENU on Sanyo DS24424

When I press the MENU button on the remote, I see the menu on the screen However, I cannot navigate the menu no matter what buttons I press on the remote. Using the volume and channel buttons on the front of the TV don't move through the menu either. Has anybody else seen this problem

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: TV screen on video 2 and remote died

The only way your going to change the video mode is with the original remote. If you need another remote go to or call 1800 remotes Theres a button on the upper left hand side of the remote called video mode. A universal most of the time will not work this function. You could ask around to your friends and buddies or relitives if anyone has a working Sanyo remote or go to a local retailer that sells Sanyo and see if he would let you borrow one for a little while so you can switch out of the video mode. Good Luck

SOURCE: Sanyo tv channel stuck

A POSSIBLE solution. I have the same it used, but it's in good condition.
It was stuck on a channel. I went iinto the menu and fiddled with the channel programs and "deleted" the channel and now I can freely change channels.

By the way, I could use a manual for this one?

SOURCE: Sanyo DS31590 channel display

I found the solution to this problem . If someone accidentally hits the recall button the display channel will show on the TV screen, To correct this problem hit the Info Button and the display channel will disapear. This works only if you have the standard cable box. I have another TV that uses a dual mode cable box, tried this procedure with analog RCA TV but it didn't work. Don't know if this procedure will work for all display problems, but it worked for me.

Look at the back or the side of the TV, you should have the standard buttons: power, menu, volume + volume - and input depending on the model, use the menu button to get to general menu and volume +/- to navigate

How can i find the codes to program the remote

Usually a universal remote has a list of supported codes for tuning the remote when you start it up. Some remotes have automatic settings so you only press one button to get the right code setting.

You may have a manual MENU button on the side of the TV that can give you navigation through the MENU windows on your screen. Check the TV or manual.

How do i change the tv from cable to regular tv with out remote

Does the TV have a menu button? It could be on the front or on the side with other control buttons. If it does, you can navigate through the On-screen Display with the Ch (up/down arrows) and Vol buttons (left/right arrows).

Press Menu and go up or down to Setup. Then press the right arrow to enter the submenu. Use the right arrow to rotate through the list of tuning bands (TV, cable, etc). Press Menu to store the change and then press Menu repeatedly to exit the OSD. (This applies if the incoming cable signal was on coax and you are switching to OTA signals. If you have a cable box that was connected to a different input and you are adding OTA via a coax connection between the antenna and the TV, press Input instead.)

This is based on a Sanyo that I know. Please check your manual or provide your model for additional information.

I hope this helps.

(if the TV doesn't have a Menu button, then you will need a remote that matches the feature. I recommend you consider one with an Input or Source button if you might need to change from TV to DVD or other sources. The remote should be one that was programmed at least 6 months after the TV was released - that will be more likely to include the codes for your TV.)

Sanyo 32469 can not turn off the closed caption do not have original remote what should i do

Try the on board menu on the tv to see if you can gain access, if not the original remote will be required. One possible solution is to go to a tv repair shop to see if they might have one. They usually keep a box of used remotes.

Sanyo ds 27510 tv no remote want to setup my tv with an antennea, wont switch from video 2

If it has a MENU button, press it and use the volume up and down to manipulate the choices, press menu again when you get to channel setup. you want AIR if using off air or Cable for cable. Next screen should say start and press menu again, the channels will start to cycle. If htat doesnt do it, you have a new model than the one I just did tonight. OneForall remotes will probably not have the setup button you need to autoprogram. Best bet is to find a Sanyo made universal remote or other Sanyo remote on Ebay as alot of the buttons are proprietary to manufacturer. Some TV's are useless without their own remote if not on a external tuner (cable SAT or digital)
