This can be the issue with printhead if you are printing documents (black color can be missing from the print)
Try to print a picture from the computer, if it works then the issue is with black color (printhead needs replacement)
If nothing prints from computer then call kodak tech support (drivers will be re-istalled, delete the printer icon from Conntrol Panel > Printer and Faxes > Restart the computer > Connect the printer USB cable again.
Kindly reseat the
cartridges 2 times and then close the access door .Click on Menu on the
printer and scroll down and choose Clean printhead and select "deep
cleaning" Print a demo sheet after
the cleaning process has been completed. If ur issue persists, Call Kodak @
1800 421 6699 and they will replace printhead of the printer free of cost. Printhead is the part
which takes the ink out from the cartridges. It seems that the printhead of the
printer has gone bad.
Since that you already did a good troubleshooting cleaning the printhead and calibrating It and replacing the printhead., I just want to ask this How many times you already replace a printhead if its newly installed it means the problem is in the printer itself and for that you need to call kodak for printer repair toll free 1 800 421 6699
Now if the replacement printhead is more than a month and you already did all the troubleshooting it means the nozzle of the printhead is clogged you need to call kodak for printhead replacement
I had the same problem and wasted money on 2 new cartridges before finding the answer on several blogs. Call Kodak Tech Support. In this case they are very good. Tell them the problem, they walk you through some steps and then give up. They will then send you out a new print head (a cheap and disposable device). I thought about buying another one for the next time things go bad but I can't find a source. They send it in 3-5 days, free. I think Kodak is embarrassed about their bad system (printheads should not go bad so fast!)
Sounds like there is a problem with your printhead. You need to clean it using the printer itself (menu -- clean printhead -- deep clean). If this does not work, go to kodak.com/go/itg to get your printhead replaced, free of charge.
