RE : You can try formatting the drive by using

I have a 4GB Kingston Datatraveler. It doesn't open through My Computer/Window explorer.
The message displayed is "Access Denied".

However it opens when I enter it through Word/Excel Document open window.

Some USB deviceswill not function properly after a "computer format." Transcend flash drives, for example, have a downloadable formatting program from the manufacturer's website to properly reconfigure the drive.

I don't know the specific model, but perhaps http://www.kingston.com/support/USBFLASHDRIVES/default.asp would be of assistance.

Flash Disk problem

Hi asad_wouria,

Try it on another computer or try to format it. If it continues to give that message then you need to get it replaced at the reseller or with Kingston.
