Question about Xerox Phaser 3200MFP/N Laser Printer

After one print, it goes Offline

The printer has not been touch, configuration is still the same, but since yesterday every time we send any document to printer, after that it will go OFFLINE and we will have to turn off/on.

Any idea of what is going on?

I unplugged the LAN Cable, Power Cable, connected again and restarted but it still the same.

Is there a reset button? Maybe i have to clear all configuration from Printer.

    Same thing. Deleted from print server and recreated queue, but problem persists. Able to ping printer and view web admin page - no errors there.

    Same here. The problem appeared on 3 different computers. I was able to install the driver couple of times (remove, reinstall), two machines are now ok, but one persists. Don't know why.

Turn off the SNMP option in the TCP/IP printer port Properties

Right-click the printer, select properties
Select port tab, highlight port, click Configure Port
UnCheck SNMP status Enabled.

This fix was given to me from Xerox Tech support.

HOW TO FIX...PRINTER IS OFFLINE BUT IT IS ON...WE ARE UNABLE TO PRINT.


If you are getting a status message as the printer is offline on your pc,and afterward you can't ready to print the reports.
Steps to Resolve the Printer Offline Issue:
Step 1:
At first, you need to check your network through the HP Scan Doctor which encourages you to discover and fix the printing issues.
Steps To Run the HP Scan Doctor
    •Open the HP Scan Doctor tool by double tapping the symbol.
    •Start- - >Select your printer- - > Fix Printing
    •Then the list of issues displayed on the screen as result.
    •If the tool shows the white checkmarks at that point there is no issue.
    •If the tool shows the white wrench then the issues are found and repaired
    •If the tool shows the yellow shout point then the issues are found however that can't be solved or skipped.
    •If the device shows the red stamp then you have to take after the on-screen guidelines to determine the issues.
    Step 2:
      Set Your Printer as Default Printer
      •Search your gadget on your PC and select your printer and uncheck the Pause Printing and Use Printer Offline

    •If you can capable print implies your printer is online.
    Officejet 4650 keeps going offline then proceeds with following step Step 3:
    Check Whether You Connect With Correct Port
      •Go to printer- - > Printer Properties - >Port
      •For USB association utilize USB or DOT4
      •For Network Connection use WSD, organize, Standard TCP/IP Port Step 4:
      •Update the printer firmware which may resolve your issues

      Step 5:
      •Manually connect the wired or wireless connection
      Step 6:
        •For network connection just you have to add the second printer to your Windows.
        •Select your printer - > Properties - >Add Port - > Standard TCP/IP Port - > Next port

HP LASERJET P1606DN goes to offline


Happened on our print server this morning for the first time. We have 4 of 1606dn in our organization. Reset the print spooler and that brought it out of offline mode

Printer goes offline but is pingable on Network


I would see what kind of data is being sent to the printer. If the spooler is trying to send some data to the printer that is outside of its limits, even a page break missing, it will do this. Also see how much data it is trying to send to the printer. If it overwhelms the printer, it will just give up until the spooler stops sending requests.

It suddenly went offline after printing a document. When I turn it off & on again, it manages to print the current job but then goes offline.

Printer is online, but status is offline


Hi, make sure if the pdf you can't print is restricted by owner password which prevents you from copying, editing and printing pdf files. User a pdf password remover to remove pdf password. AnyBizSoft has a product like this.

After every page I print, the green light goes out, and I have to press online to get it to continue printing.


Thats ..paper size mismatch, check the paper size settings of your printer in printer properties is the same as what document or document program is set to under page size of the document you wish to print, if these dont match the printer goes offline so you can put in what it's been told is the right size paper or press online to force it to print regardless...so in your case check paper size in both locations and you should be right, there are other things but 99% of the time..thats ya baby;)
