Hello qtnick, the closest date that is recorded is 2001, this seem to be when the "Tecra Series" was being put into production, I've researched many references, but there wasn't a pinpoint date on any specify model. There is mostly the focusing on the "Newer Models ie: Tecra 9 the predecessor of previous models, and the "Newest" release Tecra 11. So most models were put in to production after 2001. have a toshiba tekra 9100..the problem is that it when i turn it on it indicates that its on but the screen remains off when i try it after a while it manages to turn on bu wont boot sometimes it displaysi/o channel error or it sometimes gets past that but pauses when loading the o.s .what could be the solution for this problem
This means that your laptop does not have the display drivers installed. Check you check in the control panel, go to system icon and click on device manager? Check to see what VGA drivers are installed.
