Question about Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus Silver Edition Graphic Calculator
My TI 84 graphics calculator has broken down as my water bottle in my bag leaked and my calculator was soaked. does anyone know where can i get it fixed?? :(
Unless it is a warranty repair, I don't think you will find an economical repair for it.
What you might try is to open the case so at least one side is exposed, use blood-temperature distilled water with a drop of dish detergent to bathe the calculator, then follow with the same temp of distilled water without the detergent to rinse it.
Then use some warm source (not hot) to allow the unit to dry for several days before even trying it.
No guarantees but this won't make it worse and may remove some deposits left by your bottled water which often has added minerals that might interfere with the nanoamperes that flow in that circuit.
