Can't find driver for my webcam (Speed s6880)

I can't find a driver anywhere (numerous google searches) for my webcamera "Speed s6880 4MP PC Camera".

I am looking for a driver for XP.

The manufacturer is of no help (Speed Shangai Co. Ltd.)

anyone know where I can find this, or if I can get the camera to run another way?

Kind Regards,
Nige

All these sites offering drivers for anything are scams. Just trying to sell you another registry cleaning software. Googls is stuffed. anytime you try to find anyting it has been hijacked by a scammer. and even if you pay they still wont have the droiver you really want.

You have to open the webcam software to activate or startthe webcam. There is no button to push or switch to turn on. Thewebcam software is somewhere in the program list. Click Start/Programs thensearch for any reference to webcam or camera. Sometimes the webcam mightbe inside one of the manufacturers folders in the program list so search thefolders for it. Some manufacturers have something like EntertainmentExperience that will open and show all the entertainment devices such as thedvd drive, webcam, media player, etc. if you see it click it to launch itthen click on the webcam or camera icon.

Try using ManyCamYoucan always download Manycam and install it. Go to www.google.com and inthe search box type: "download.cnet.com" (without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When the site opens look down on theleft and you will see a gray area that says Find Software. Type"Manycam" (without the quotes) in the white search area then hit thesearch mirror. When it brings back your results look for the one thatsays ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it and install it. Make sureyou remove the check box on any junky programs it would like to install. Youonly want to install ManyCam, no additions whatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use, and you will always know where yourwebcam software is.
If neither of the above two solves your webcam problem then the camera's driver has not been installed. Go to the manufacturer's site and download and install the Webcam driver.
Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "AcerSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the drivers.

The webcamera doesen't work in my laptop toshiba

What do you mean it does not work? Do you know how to start the webcam? Are you getting any messages that make you think it does not work?

Maybe the webcam driver is not installed. Look in the Device Manager and look for the webcam. Click Start/Control Panel and look for System or System and Performance. Look for the Device Manager (it might be under hardware). Open the device manger and look for Imaging Devices. Click the + next to imaging devices to expand and see the camera. if it is there the drive is installed. You can click on it to see if it says it is working properly.

You could download and reinstall the webcam driver.

Hi, after windows 7 installation,my asus k50 laptop webcam is working head down, also I can't find my webcam setting.

Dear sir/Madam...
The Laptop come with the motherboard installation disc.Use that disc to install your webcamera automatically.if that disc will not work properly then try to download the right driver for your webcamera . Keep in mind, drivers are vary by the versions of Windows(xp,Vista,7). So you search in google.

Need software for my logitech webcamera as I have lost the cd

This might help out a little but might not. When you plug your camera in you should hear a verification like a bing sound. You might see hardware found and blah blah, but you need drivers. In any case I found some information on Google that may help you. I can't help you completely you should learn how to use Google and keywords.

If you require any help please message me.
Thank you. :)

My friend gave me digital webcam china made nothing is writen on it except digital i have no driver cd

Whithout knowing a brand or model name, it is impossible for anyone to tell you what driver to download.
The only thing that you could do, is to search google images for "webcam", and see if you can find one that looks just like yours. I have done this in the past to find drivers for no-name webcameras. Once you find a picture looking like your camera, click it to go to the page it's on, and try to find a brand name or model name of the camera. Once you find a model name or brand name, search google for the name + "driver download" and you should be able to find a driver for your camera.
The obvious solution is of course to ask your friend if he have the drivers, but I figure you already tried that.
