I use diluted brasso/silvo to polish the surface & clean with water or wet cloth note this works for cds & dvds.

Scratches ceramic stove top

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that you have scratches on the ceramic stove top of your Frigidaire rage, model# FEF366. Small scratches do not affect cooking and will become less visible with time. To prevent any further scratches, make sure you do not use any abrasive cleaners. These can scratch your stove top even more. Try not to use cookware with rough bottoms. These can mark or scratch the cooktop surface. Try not sliding any metal or glass across your cooktop. This includes sliding your pans as well. Coarse particles such as salt or sand between cooktop and utensils can cause scratches. Be sure your cooktop surface and bottoms of utensils are clean before usage. I hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

While i was cleaning my Sony Bravia 40 Inch 1080p Flat panel LCD Screen, it had alot of dust so i used some cloth while i was cleaning it with cloth it made some kind of lines... scratches the scratches...

only use microfiber cloth to clean LCD panels, and no windex. Use 50/50 distilled water and denatured alcohol, or a dedicated LCD cleaner. Small scratches are not worth buffing out as screen itself is relatively soft plastic.

Set of old woods which are scratched thro use need tomake them look new as I have started playing again

I have an old set of woods that I touched up once. I took very fine grit sandpaper and very lightly sanded the scratches. Then I took some Old English scratch remover and applied it to the scatches with a Q-tip. Put on new grips and FOUR!!! It got rid of the scratches but for some reason, it still didn't seem to hit any straigher for me!! LOL Hope this helped and best wishes.

Repaire scratches on a lcd flat screen

The eraser method is even better than I first thought.
I acquired my first scratch some weeks back, tried the eraser method, and was quite pleased with the results, as my scratch was approx. 80% less visible, a faint grey line visible only on very light or dark coloured backgrounds, instead of the glaring black line it was at first.
Today my monitor toppled again (I really must tether the damn thing to something next time) creating - gulp - a new and even larger scratch. Oh, no... But whodathunk I'd end up happy I got the 2nd scratch? Oddly, I am happy, 'cause I took the opportunity to lay the monitor flat, take my white eraser again , and really go to town rubbing both new & old scratches. Lo & behold, both scratches appear to be now virtually 100% invisible or gone. My 2-scratch monitor is better now than it was as a one scratch one! I'm now convinced it's partly, largely, or completely due to the heat from friction of rubbing the eraser across the scratch, plus pressure applied, that does the trick. The heat must soften the plastic surface making it malleable, and the pressure of rubbing smooths out the jagged scratch edges, making the scratches disappear.
-So, if at first your eraser doesn't completely eliminate your scratch, try, try again! Keep working on it - harder!faster! And with luck, you'll get results like mine: complete elimination of two ugly scratches!

Surface scratches to LCD screen

ive tried the vaseline method (petroleum jelly) and you must be sure not to apply too much on the screen or else it will smudge around the scratch and it is hard to buff out, but if you fill the scratch in and wipe off the excess around it, then it should be barely visible.
