adapter driver is missing, this method is not completely downloaded the wireless lan driver... you download the software driver properly with all the support-in motherboard chipsets... to make it sure that the laptop is recognized the wireless lan card inside. It took a little research to find this. Evidently when it first came out, Acer didn't support XP. This seems to take care of it. Use the drop downs to find your wireless. Please rate this accordingly if it helped you out as it helps me out as well.
Yes you can install Windows XpSp2 but will give you lots of problem. it will not read your HD. than you will need HD SATA Drivers. after that you will need to call Acer's to Get drivers for the chipset and Sound. i suggest that you stay with the Windows Vista. you will not have any problems.
