Problem getting computer to read ins...

after initially installing samsung cd disc everything worked ok but had conflict with my fugi camera program where I could not download pics off camera - I uninstalled samsung YP-K3 programme which allowed camera to download pics as normal prior to samsung installation - tried to install samsung installation disc again but computer will not read it at all - also tried to install thru control panel but won't read cd either (I am not very computer savy) I have a cannon disc camera and put disc in computer to download pictures and my computer said it could not accept the disc.Ihave windows xp and it went through the process until the end and the screen came across and said it could not accept program.I am not computer literate but I had 3 people try it and no one could get it to work.
