Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines
My toploader has stopped mid-cycle and nothing I can do will make it work again. I have checked circuit breakers and they are all fine so assume that the power supply is still fine. However, in the last few weeks I have noticed that the machine has been termperamental to start when I closed the lid
Your lid switch has failed. Take loose the control panel with the two screws in the back corners of the panel(Back of machine) Then flip the panel forward and your lid switch is on the left side cliped into the case. Replace it and your good to wash clothes again.
