I have a canon iP1800 and it won't power on, it wont do anything.

For Canon PIXMA iP1800 series No Power issue. Normally is either QK1-3130-000 AC POWER ADAPTER or QY5-0194-000 LOGIC BOARD.

My Canon IP1800 worked fine until I had to replace the ink. I changed the cartridges and since then it has not printed. It will not feed the paper in the printer to do anything. I have pushed the feed...

These are the steps:
1. Turn On iP1800
2. Push and Hold Resume button about 2 minutes
3. Release Resume button
4. Printer back to normal again.

Canon ip1980 model printer's (ink absorber almost full problem)

release cable power and usb press and hold power button than plug cable power to printer port, pres and hold resume button 18 second or more, than plug usb cable into printer, press power button (printer off), and press again power button (prnter On), thats alll.... thas working to my printer (ip1800, ip1850, and ip1900, ip1980)

My printer wont print out a letter i need. it says to check conections and make shure it is turned on but i tried it and it still wont work

Hello,

You may have a problem with your communication connection.

1) Try plugging and unplugging your USB cord..
2) Go to "Control Panel/Printers".
3) Delete "Canon iP1800 series" printer.
4) Power ON printer, let computer detect printer.

If it will not detect and install the printer. There might be a problem with your USB cable.

step 1: remove printer cable from your printer

step 2: you have to delete any files found in this folder C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS

step 3: restart computer

My priter wont print

take it out . make sure nothng is on the electricial contacts. clean them with a pencil eraser if they are dirty,The ones on the printer also. reinser and try again. Make sure it snaps doen into the printer.
