Does it post anything on the screen when it starts up? If so see which key it says to hit to get into the Bios or System Setup. Maybe the bios is there but there is no Operating System.
You can try downloading and flashing the bios. I would think you need a ASUS Bios since that is the motherboard. Packard Bell would not have it.
Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "AsusSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the drivers.
thanks but asus dont support the mb its manufacured by asus but pb do there thing to it
ther are many post on the net were people have flashed it with the asus bios and end up with a defunct mb were it keeps asking for p5s800.rom
I think you've hit a road block by mixing the the two. You should stick to the type of board that came with the computer.

Find and fix errors in your system BIOS
BIOS Patcher can find and fix errors in
your system BIOS (only AWARD BIOS for now) and also it can add or open new
features, i.e. some features that your BIOS has but they are closed by
manufacturer of your motherboard. It scans rom file. If it finds any known
errors it fixes the errors. If it finds any closed features it opens it. hope this
helps
