I have a new GFF Chronometer watch for which I have lost the instructions,,and need to know how to change the date
SOURCE: Watch gains time (at least 5 minutes per day); also Chronometer registers don't work
Nice watch!
Really worth it to bring it in to GOOD watch tech center (or mail it to Rolex in NYC) - expect to spend 'bout $200 for a cleaning and adjustment. This needs to be done every 5 years or so - the price of owning a fine mechanical watch.
Drop into any Rolex retailer for help with using the buttons.....
Good luck!

Make sure your time display is on T1.
Press and hold the "Light" button for three seconds.
When you release it, the display will begin flashing and you can make the adjustments with the "ST/SP" and "Lap" buttons.

Go to timex.com choose country then click on the help tab at the top of the page. You will find a tab for manuals and downloads on the left hand side.
This is to let you know that the battery needs to be replaced.make sure that you use a watchmaker that can test and replace any worn case parts so that your watch will retain it's original design water resistance.
