I don't no what video files that are supported?

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI and WMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format that your MP3 player uses. After video conversion then copy the video files to your MP3 player using the USB cable from your computer. How to put vedios on the mp3

It seems that this device only plays one video type. Meaning that you'd first have to run all your video files through a converter, and then you can put the converted file on the device, and only then will it be able to play video files. The supported file types are wmv and smv. There might be some others that I havn't come across yet though.
Here's a download link to a converter for this device: link Simply put the output type to either SMV or WMV and convert the file. Copy the converted file to your device and it should be able to play.

I hope I was able to help. If I did, please don't forget to rate my solution.

Hi, to be able to the video file that Sylvania SMPK8858 MP3 Player plays, you will need to know the file format first before you can be able to convert the type of file you want to convert to play on your mp3 player.

You can use the below link to convert the file type of video you will want to convert to.

How do you put a video on mp3 player

you have to convert your files into .smv format. those are the only types os videos that the player will play. your music player should have come with a cd and that cd contains a program that will convert your videos into .smv format. if you dont have the cd, you can download the program from the trekstor official website.

Can i play video files on Mp3 player

Ok you need to goto http://www.any-video-converter.com/

Choose your input file ... Choose your output folder. (Output folder selection is in options)

Select the format type of *.mp4

In the selection below that change the codec type to mpeg4 (The other 2 are for iPhone and dvds)

Press convert.

Once finished you should copy the newly converted video to the player, It should then play fine ... I say should.

I cannot find any information about your player online but my guide to you here is based on what I know so far about generic mp4 players. If after that it still doesn't work then I think you may be right and your son wrong.

Loading My ITunes library into new Sansa Clip

Hey guyi,

According to information provided by the manufacturer (Sandisk), the Sansa Clip MP3 player can use two different methods to upload songs: a simple drag-and-drop interface, or syncronizing the player with Windows Media Player.

With the traditional drag-and-drop interface, you would need to connect the player to your computer and select the "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer" option when it is presented. Once you have done this, you should be able to double-click on the "Sansa" player and then the "Music" folder. After this folder has been opened, you should be able to drag and drop (or copy/paste) the files into this folder to upload them to the player.

For more information or instructions on how to add files to your Sansa music library using Windows Media Player however, you may wish to refer to your owner's manual or the following link on the manufacturer's website:

http://www.sandisk.com/assets/File/Downloads/user-guides/clip-usermanual.pdf

Unfortunately Windows Media Player does not currently appear to support the ability to directly import iPod playlists, but if you keep most of your music files in the same folder/directory on your computer, both programs should be able to share the same music library. Please keep in mind that this may only apply to music that you loaded onto the computer yourself and other unprotected file formats that both programs recongize (like .MP3 files), and may not necessarily apply to copy-protected songs downloaded from iTunes or other online music services.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron
