I have a H700 that worked perfectly with my motoroloa Razor. I got today a Blackberry 7130 from my company and the sound is terrible. I was able to do pairing step, it is connected but I can't understand a word what the other person is saying and they can't hear me as well.
It looks like there is a constant static sound breaking up the voice.
Thank you for your help

Re: H700 problem with Blackberry 7130
It just so happens that I almost bought this headset, but decided not to after reading some reviews. Apparently when paired with the blackberry, the headset doesn't like to function too well. It has a severe problem with distance. Even clothing in the way of the phone and headset can cause static. I've heard some reviewers say they cannot even have the phone and headset on opposite sides of their body because it perfers to have 'line of sight' with the phone.
Do some tests by connecting the headset with the phone while they are very close together, almost touching. Once it's initialized, try to keep your phone in a pocket/on your belt on the same side of your body as the phone.
I have not heard why these two products work so terribly together, but the problem does not seem to point to the headset or the blackberry, but the combination of the two.

most bluetooth earpiece pass keys are 0000 or 000000. Hold the device power button down until the lights flash two colors, then locate device with the blackberry. Enter either of the two codes and see which works. Normally you can not change the code on the earpiece, but you can on the phones.
1. Bluetooth enabled? 2. Options -> Bluetooth -> Add Device
Hold down the connect button on headset
until steady purple light comes on, then open the boom.
Search for Bluetooth devices on the blackberry. When asked for a pin, use "0000".
Now the H700 will show up in the Bluetooth device list, but it will not
Put the headset in pairing mode again, this time go to the h700
listed on the blackberry and select connect. Now the devices will work
as normal. When you open the boom on the h700, it will connect to the
First, CLOSE your boom
Second, Hold the talk button( about 5 secs it should turn to purple color)
Third, DO NOT release the button while opening your boom
Fourth, your BT should be in discover mode( show the steady light not flashing )
Fifth, open your phone bluetooth and search for device. Choose your bluetooth that appeared on the list ( pair code normally "0000" ).
The term "service" refers to other types of services supported by bluetooth technology like keyboards, mice, etc. There's a lot more than just headsets now.
I suggest checking the bluetooth options on your phone to see if there is a refresh service or other option....there is one like that on my blackberry that I once had to use to solve a similar issue.
Have you tried disabling bluetooth, rebooting phone, enabling bluetooth, and rebooting phone before pairing?
Also, look to see if there is an encryption on/off option on the phone...this could be causing an echo in either state due to interference...try switching encryption on/off.
Also, check your update options on the phone, you didn't say which kind of phone it is but some can get firmware updates that may be needed for bluetooth to work well.
Finally, you may get results by deleting the device on the phone and re-adding it thru discovery.
I had the same problem with my Razor and the H700. I removed the device from the phone and reinstalled and that fixed the pairing probelm...Now I have another problem. I can hear the party I'm talking to just fine but no onee can hear me...this is my second Motorola ear piece and I've had the same problem twice...I think its a microphone problem...anyway, try to unistall and then reinstall the ear piece, that should fix your problem
