Question about Creative Labs Zen Digital Media Player
It started displaying the creative logo and got stuck. i reset the player. it shut down and never turn on. I tried all the steps given by customer support still no success. in the device manager on computer it shows a 'USB Human Interface Device' and does not turn on. It neither shows up in 'My Computer' nor in 'Windows media player'. i tried to update its drivers. simply it does not respond. Iam very much disappointed. somebody please help me. Thank you.

Sounds like it may be the index in your Music Library. Try going into Recovery Mode; remove battery, hold power switch to ON, replace battery, release power switch when the Recovery Mode screen appears on the screen. Run Option 1 CleanUP, after it completes run Option 4 Restart. You will get a Rebuilding Library screen when it reboots, that's normal, then it should go back to your startup screen. I had the same problem. Icontacted creative labs and they told me to reset it using the reset button. (small hole you need to use an electronic pencil to get to it) and then it worked.
