Question about Philips GEMINI GM-10 MIXER MICROPHONE (xlr connector) Microphone

Open Question

Wiring diagram Hi Experts, My Philips Car CD Changer (Model Number 22RC026/50B; mounted in the boot of our Astra 1998 Model) wires got yanked out of the 8 pin jack that connects it to the radio/cassette player in the dashboard. All 8 wires are hanging loose and the connector is sitting there by itself. (The connector is round, about 3/8" wide, and has 7 pins in a round config and one pin in the center, with Ground at the top outer rim. It looks like the old old Philips tape-recorder connectors from 1965.) If you could point me to someone who may have the color-code for the wiring, I would be helped immensely. Many Thanks in advance. Neel.

SOURCE: pulled the wires for the crts off. didn't label them correctly help

Yes the first one near the rear of the set goes to the blue crt which if you are looking in from rear will be on the far left and the middle will go to green in the middle and the 3rd or last will go to red on the right. A rule of thumb in this case is alway red on right and green is always middle crt.

SOURCE: DVP334V cant connect to my LCD TV

  1. Connect the video cable to the players VIDEO (CVBS) OUT (yellow) jack and to the TV's VIDEO IN jack.
  2. Connect the audio cable to the players 'AUDIO LEFT' (white) and 'RIGHT' (red) output and the TV's 'AUDIO LEFT/RIGHT' input jacks.
  3. After it is hooked up, you will need to select the TV’s video input channel that corresponds to the jacks connecting the player to the TV.
    • Press STANDBY-ON to turn on the player.
    • Turn ON the TV.
Note: Video Input selection varies for different brands/models of TVs. Consult the user manual or manufacturer or your TV if none of the below is successful.
      • Press channel 2 on your TV. Then press the channel down button to locate the video input channel. (This channel is usually located between the lowest and highest TV channels.)
      • For some TVs, there may be a button on the TV’s remote control that accesses the video input channel labeled SOURCE, AV or SELECT.
      • Select the Video Input Channel from the TV’s on-screen menu system.

SOURCE: Speaker wire problem

Yes you can splice the ends onto the existing wires, but first make sure the ends are labeled + or - and make sure you hook the other ends to the speakers the correct way. Before you cut the connectors off of the speaker wires mark one of each of the pairs of the wires with tape, on each side of where you cut it so you can match the wires back up. Are the pre-wired, wires labeled + and -? or red and black? Or one of each pair is a different color wire ie silver and copper? If they aren't labeled its going to be hard to get the correct polarity (+ and -) for each speaker. I hope this helps post back if you have any problems.
