Question about Philips GEMINI GM-10 MIXER MICROPHONE (xlr connector) Microphone

Open Question

Wiring diagram Hi Experts, My Philips Car CD Changer (Model Number 22RC026/50B; mounted in the boot of our Astra 1998 Model) wires got yanked out of the 8 pin jack that connects it to the radio/cassette player in the dashboard. All 8 wires are hanging loose and the connector is sitting there by itself. (The connector is round, about 3/8" wide, and has 7 pins in a round config and one pin in the center, with Ground at the top outer rim. It looks like the old old Philips tape-recorder connectors from 1965.) If you could point me to someone who may have the color-code for the wiring, I would be helped immensely. Many Thanks in advance. Neel.

This isn't exactly a microphone question, but the diagram you need is here:
It's for a factory strat, so if yours has any quirks or modifications, it may not match the diagram exactly.

Need the wiring diagram for a audio-technica

I believe on the 4 pin connector of the pack, pin 1 is shield/ground and pin 2 is low impedance input. One of the other pins is bias voltage and the other is high impedance.

In the UNIT I had, there was a connection diagram someplace in the battery compartment, either on the cover or the case. As I recall it had poor conrast to read and find it so check closely.

Hi Pin 1 earth, Pin 2 hot (red), Pin 3 Cold (black). If its going to a jack plug, then can connect 1 and 3 together to earth and 2 goes to tip.

best of luck

Telex 56 to cobra 4 pin

Hi there!!

the yellw wire is not used on the microphone conector most of them are just cut and left in there loose as long as its not shorting out on anything!! The wiring for the telex 56 for your radio Cobra 29 LTD is as follows: PIN #1 Shield & Red, PIN #2 White, PIN #3 Blue, PIN #4 Black, Yellow wire not connected!!

If you notice when you have the connector apart on the back of the pins where the wires get soldered to the pins are numbered so you will know which pins they are or on the front side of the connector the pins are also marked wich numbers they are!! If you have any other questions please feel free to e-mail us at:

SHure SM57 mcorphone not working -wires disconnected

The wire coming from the switch if it has one will go to pin 2 as it is hot(+ve). Pin 3 is cold (-ve) and pin 1 is gound/shield which will make contact when the XLR connector is mounted back in the mike secured with the set screw. There should be a small hole in the side of the base of the mike that the set screw lines up with. Usind the correct size of flat bladed screw driver, back this screw out counter clockwise to secure the connector. If that is wrong, get back to me and i will hunt up my Shure wiring diagrams. If pin 2 and 3 are backwards the mike will be out of phase. Hope this helps.
