Which e-mail server are you using? If this is a web mail (like gmail or yahoo) you can make sure the userid and password you are using are correct buy logging directly to them and not through outlook. Also - you can check maybe the outlook setting were changed in Tools->AccountSettings

The system and software crashes are a part of our digital life but if you want to keep your system in a tip top shape and minimize such happenings than you need to follow these three steps.
  1. Always keep an quality updated Anti Virus software with protection shield on.
  2. Always keep your registry clean with a good Registry cleaning software.
  3. Keep you Windows updated with latest updates (Patches) and Service packs.
  4. Always use genuine software.
Good Luck!

Hello, When using windows live mail 2011 The wimdows live messenger login screen appears. How do i stop this happening? Windows 7 OS. Thankyou.

Is it possible to add another email account to your Windows Live Mail 2010? If so give it a try (Follow This). Actually your problem is little confusing since you have mentioned mainly two things, Windows Live ID account box and Windows Live messenger login screen.

If it's Live Id, then add a Windows Live ID account and see what happens, i.e. email address with Hotmail.com or Live.com or MSN.com (Click here to learn more or sign up).

Let me know the outcomes.

Error code 80040154 msn live not working with vistahome

this link should fix your problem for error code 80040154

http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ip-neutral.cab

The single msi file will not work definitely.

Install WL Communications Platform... from where???

Go to http://download.live.com/messenger, then download the installer...

during installation options, choose to install MESSENGER and MAIL options... the others are optional.

If you already installed the single MSI file, just install the MAIL option, the WL communications platform will be included after the installation of MAIL option.

Windows Live Messenger wont show up in add/remove programs to delete it as a Debug Error keeps coming up how could i delete it !?!?!?!

You could try to download and install it again,

or run the command line to uninstall it

Click Start
Run
paste the below line and click OK
msiexec /x {0AAA9C97-74D4-47CE-B089-0B147EF3553C}

If that does not work you can try the ZapMessenger utility (works for some not others)

Not the first time you start outlook Express or anything, it may take a while, it may need to reconfigure to work without messenger

First let me explain. Each browser handles scripts (the stuff that make up web pages and stuff) differently. You have Notify Me of Script Errors turned "ON" on your computer, so you will be notified of every error or warning - even if it works fine.

FIX: To fix this, Go to your Control Panel (START > Control Panel) and, in Classic View (you can find that on the left panel), click Internet Options. In the tabs on the top, click "Advanced", and then find the category "Browsing". CHECK "Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer), and "Disable Script Debugging (Other)". UNCHECK "Display a notification about every script error".

Click OK, and then messenger should work fine. If it does it again, restart your computer, then it will work fine.

It might be your network problem, if you can try with other browsers like firefox or opera, if the problem still exist, you might need to contact your isp.
