Having recently purchaced an HP external writer and connected it to my DEll PC i can't find the instructions how to burn music a CD please can you tell me how (at 75 years of age i just can't work it out myself

If you use Windows Media Player as your Music Player, then simply open Media Player, insert your blank CD and then on the side of the window there should be a tab called 'Copy yo CD or Device', Click on this. To put the songs you want on the CD, go to the drop down menu on the 'Items to copy' side and look for "All Music". There will be a small box on the side next to a song name and click on it to check the song if you wish to add it, or uncheck it for the song not to be added. A CD will on average fit about 20 songs so i would aim for this for each CD. Once you have selected your songs click the 'copy' button, which has a 'record' symbol beside it and your done.
