Rolex watch Thanks for your response Charlie, I have been diligent over the last week or so at making sure I move my wrist and watch regularly throughout the day and the problem seems to be fixed. It is frustrating as I've had the watch for a few years and I don't think I'm doing anything differently now to what I have always done - but clearly I am so I think you're right. Ensuring a bit of extra movement throughout the day is helping the watch to keep time again. I'm back in love with it now! Thanks for your help. K

Rolex did make quartz watches. Take it to a Rolex repair or a Rolex sales store. They can tell you if its real or fake.

This f761720 rolex is 100% authentic. Went to rolex they confirmed this also.

Your calendar wheel is damaged. Unfortunately, it is illegal to own or work on a Rolex replica / fake Rolex as it is a trademark violation. I would suggest purchasing a genuine Rolex as a replacement, as there are generally no identifiable movements, and therefore no identifiable replacement parts for the movement in your timepiece.

Be aware, however, that all automatic and mechanical watches, such as Rolex, must be services regularly, every 3-5 years, for them to last and work properly. Thanks for the rating!

There are a few things to check..

Most reproductions/fake Daytonas have a second hand that moves.. if your second/sweep hand is moving like a standard second hand.. you have a fake.

The real Daytona's second hand remains at the 12 position as it is part of the stopwatch function and only moves when activated.

A few other things you can check.. if the three mini dials refer to months or days it's a fake.

If anything is engraved on the back of this watch.. it's a fake

Rolex engraves a serial number between the lugs.. some fakes duplicate this..but generally not very well.

Lastly if you have none of these issues.. the final way to be sure is to have the back removed and have the movement verified.

It's a fake. If it were real you'd have bought it in a real jewelry store with a Rolex franchise. Real Rolex watches aren't sold on street corners. Take it into any jewelry store,they'll tell you for sure.

Rolex's are wound by your movement. Try moving your arm back and forth and see if that helps. Also make sure that the crown is screwed in securely. If it's not a watch that you're not going to wear all of the time, you might want to buy a winder. I've bought several off of Ebay for around 30 dollars. They simply display and spin the watch off and on keeping it running. Good luck!!

no! you have not done anything wrong my suggestion is bring it to an authorized rolex service center or any certifide rolex watch fixers.to avoid any damage of your rolex daytona. it mabe costly but you have made it wisely.
