Question about RCA 27F650T 27" TV
TV was working fine last night, but would not turn on this morning. Niether the remote or front button on the TV have any effect, no click, nothing. HOWEVER, if I unplug it and plug it back in, I hear the click/clunk and hmmm like it is turning on, but it never fully turns on the click/clunk lasts about 3 seconds and is gone. Unplug and repeat with same results. I did notice an arc when I plug it in....there is an imediate current draw when it is plugged in. There is a possibility that some water may have dripped in it. I am assuming it did and something is shorted. Is this likely to be an expensive or cheap fix? Just wondering if it is worth fixing.
Try blowing on it

The arc when you plug it in is from the degause cirt operating, the fault sounds like at least a pwr supply repair $100, & or vertical + $50,and or horizontal + $150,If water is the reason.

I had the exact same problem--TV not turning on at all. Before I threw the TV away, I opened it up and saw a blown fuse near the power cable connection.
I just replaced the tiny fuse in the same TV. It's a 250-Volt 5-Amps fuse. Make sure you get this exact fuse. Otherwise, it will blow again. Now, the TV's working fine.
