My panasonic TV will not turn on. I have tried the standard of changing the power point etc. When I turn it on it flashes green for a bit the turns to standby mode again. It flashes 7 times red then pauses.
This is the the Scan Driver, that is the 7 flash code for Panasonic. Unless you are a skilled TV repair man I would not try to repair it yourself. I know it sucks. That should be the problem. but sometimes one problem links to another and this is why it should go somewhere to get fixed and tested properly. I have experienced that when you repair one code another will go off before the TV comes on very frustrating if you are buying the panels. $$$$$ Good luck.

I have a Emerson 32" HDTV and when I turn my tv on, it turns to standby right away.

all of a sudden it shuts off then when i turn it on the red light just flash serveral times and nothing happen..i was wondering if its my lamp..when i first turn on the tv the red light flash on the screen that says replace lamp..i was wondering if this is the cause of it.
We were watching the TV Panny TH50PX77U (just had 1 year anniversary on Thanksgiving!! no more warranty). It suddenly turned black screen. Nothing worked. Tried to unplug and waited for a long while many times. It is kind of strange. As soon as we plugged the power cord, the TV 'turned power ON' but black and no sound. There was no reaction or signal whatsoever when pressed any key on the remote or on the TV.
I don't know there's any reset or any easy trick to make it work.
