TUNER PROBLEM

please advise me on what to do to my T-7J FM/AM/TV STEREO SYNTHESIZER TUNER (KENWOOD).i dont know how to make tuner work.there is a display but tuning, band, etc... seems like it is not working.it began when i use the sleep feature of its remote control.for not to worry on turning off the stereo, i used the sleep mode.but my problem, when i try to use its tuner again, i can not do so.i need your advise. tnx
